About the Role:

As an Assistant Manager at Pure Cannabis Outlet, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the dispensary. This will be for our New Baltimore, MI. location. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure a smooth and compliant operation, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to the overall success of the dispensary.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in leading and managing a team of budtenders, inventory specialists, receptionists, and other staff members. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure a cohesive and motivated team.
  • Uphold a high standard of customer service by assisting customers with product selection, inquiries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Oversee inventory control procedures, including monitoring stock levels, restocking shelves, and collaborating with the inventory team to optimize product availability.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations. Stay informed about changes in cannabis laws and update staff accordingly.
  • Contribute to sales strategies, implement promotional activities, and train staff on effective upselling techniques.
  • Supervise cash handling procedures, conduct daily cash reconciliations, and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
  • Assist in opening and closing procedures, including preparing the store for daily operations and securing the premises at the end of the day.
  • Hold team members accountable for their roles and responsibilities. Set clear expectations, provide constructive feedback, and address performance issues promptly to ensure a high-performing and motivated team.
  • Facilitate ongoing training sessions for staff to enhance product knowledge, customer service skills, and compliance awareness. Identify areas for improvement and implement training programs accordingly.
  • Act as a point of contact for customer complaints or issues. Collaborate with the team to address and resolve customer concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of cannabis products and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Dutchie or similar cannabis-related POS systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Metrc experience is preferred
  • 3 years of experience in cash handling

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
